i hate that "no t-shirt" rule (and "no sneakers" too)- i saw jonathan richman there a little while ago and i wanted to wear my modern lovers t-shirt, but i saw "no t-shirts" on their website- i'm scared of authority and confrontation, so i didn't risk it, but there were tons of t-shirt clad folks at the show

(did you change into your suit in the car or something?)
