danah boyd and I both lived at Watermyn Co-op at the same time, so I keep an eye on her blog. She just made a post whose main topic is the kind of information that the government could figure out from monitoring social networking sites like MySpace (or Livejournal), but she also briefly discusses a bunch of other things along the way and has interesting things to say about all of them.
