Really? I find that intensely puzzling. Makes me wonder if people just like Tennant better—he's a lot cuddlier than Eccleston in some ways, which might partly hide that some of the things his Doctor does are just as morally problematic—but much as I enjoy Tennant's Doctor, I also think the show started sliding too far into the sentimental beginning with his season. I haven't been watching more recent episodes at all because of it.
