My powerbook refused to start up at all this morning, so I bought a new one which I am using right now. The place I bought it said that they take old laptops as trade-in, so I will check into that.
so sorry, but I hope you got a good one! I ended up with my 12" powerbook after the motherboard on my (original! bondi blue!) imac went up in smoke - the 12" were brand new and out of my price range but I used 'well computers are expensive to start with might as well buy something I really want what's a couple hundred when you have a credit card?' logic and honestly I don't regret it because it rocks.
