Now, I'll agree with Dan Savage that yes, his favorite acronym is funny and all (DOAC, Defecate on Ann Coulter), and I'll agree with Al Franken that Ann is a Liar Liar Liar.

But still, those two guys for a start probably have her books on their shelves, in the name of research.

Along with the Bork, Bennett, and O'Reilly flavors.

Unless they burned them after the research.

I guess having certain books on one's shelf doesn't mean one agrees with what they say.

I agree, the stigma would be too much.

But there are probably some people who don't mind that, and buy the books anyway. Maybe specifically in order to destroy them later. ;-)
