Plea for assistance

Where would you go to get plain black tee shirts in Providence and environs? I have tried a few places, but it appears that Providence is in the middle of a Great Black Tee Shirt Drought, so my attempts so far have been unsuccessful.

(Specifically I tried a bunch of places at the Providence Place Mall and also the Job Lot on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston.)

Thanks,
jwgh

interesting. Personally, I'm more concerned about their anti-union stance than the salacious ad campaigns (yawn) or the founder's personal peccadiloes.

guess its more misogyny than sexism...

yeah he jerks off during interviews, wants to hire hotties to work with, not just for modeling. there was a really bad article on him in an issue of Jane a while ago. I like the shirts alot though, they are really, really comfortable, and i have no morals.. but i hate people that wear things just for coolness/hipsterabilty and aa is definately one of those brands.. so i just like to bring up the disgustingness of Dov Charney as much as possible.

Theres actually this other company that is called alternative apparel that makes identically comfortable tee-shirts. Though they don't say they are not sweat shop free. Forcing one to decide sweat shops vs. or anti-union/anti-woman.

yeah, the guy definitely sounds like a tool. I guess it is sexism if he's actually hiring people based on looks/willingness to fuck him. On the other hand, Hooters has been doing that for years. On the other other hand, it's not like I go to Hooters all the time.

Alternative apparel seems to believe that it is a sweatshop free company-- just made in other countries with lower standards. It doesn't look like they do retail directly, sad.
