I swear to god I was going to suggest the same song-- its opening accordian chord lept into my head the instant I saw your Christmas picture with the accordian.
For those who haven't heard the original song before, it was thrown together in a few hours at the request of Sarah Vowell, who was doing a story on TMBG and "Dial-A-Song" for WBEZ's public radio show (syndicated by PRI/APR) "This American Life." The original and the show in question can be heard at this archive page (http://207.70.82.73/pages/descriptions/98/90.html).
It borrows lyrics from "Cyclops Rock," but the transformation from heavy guitar to spare accordian seems to shift it from being a Flansburgh song to a Linnell song.
Okay, I was typing all that to kill time while I listened to it-- well done, mang! It's great!
