After doing some Google Maps research, I'm almost certain he actually said "Eddy Street and Point Street", but I don't know how to revise my transcription.

Nope, it turns out you're not allowed to revise your transcription; it's one submit per user, presumably to prevent edit wars and such.

It was probably for the MDA thing -- Labor Day weekend is Jerry Lewis telethon weekend.

Of course, the funny part is, there's a Whole Foods on Pitman Street, and ANOTHER Whole Foods on North Main! HAW HAW so he sent her to one of the right places and then thought he didn't and now he'll NEVER find her on craigslist.

Also, the thought of firefighters trolling craigslist is a bit scary.

I think the Whole Foods over that way is on Waterman street, with East Side Marketplace the next block over at Pitman.

I've been keeping an eye on http://providence.craigslist.org/mis/ but so far no sign of firefighters!

Oh yeah, you're totally right. It's two blocks off of Pitman St. Oh well, at least he sent her to a grocery store.
