Do you think that the presence of the word 'funky' in the title of a song makes it more or less likely that the song will actually be funky? Pro: 'Funky Broadway'. Con: 'Funkytown', 'Play That Funky Music, White Boy'. Other examples?

I dunno... Parliament is fond of throwing "funky" or "the funk" around their song titles, and they are pretty fucking funky...

I dunno, I consider 'Play That Funky Music, White Boy' to be funk or at least the funky side of disco. It's not as unfunky as a BeeGees or KC and the Sunshine Band disco song. I should go and ask my roommates.

UPDATE: The roommates, being big Parliament fans, decided that 'Funkytown' was slightly funky and 'Play That Funky Music, White Boy' was funkier, but Parliament uses "funk" rather than "funky" in song titles. Conclusion: "funky" is the white-boys word for funk and thus isn't as funky as real funk, but it *can* be slightly funky.
