Phone Post: A tribute to Buckminster Fuller

Some notes on this:

plorkwort inspired this phone post.

The lyrics I used were the ones given here (look under session 072). The lyrics that chicken_cem found appear to be a little more accurate, but hopefully the sound quality of the phone post is bad enough that you can't tell the difference.

The stamps are completely freaky looking. I have to go to the post office tomorrow and buy a bunch.

Although chicken_cem's lyrics seem to be more accurate than the ones on the memeticdrift site, there's one more correction that I'd make: the last line of the first stanza should be, "Mies, Gropius, Corbusier, and Wright."

Also, I am terribly pleased that the stamps include his apartment blocks designed to be dropped from zeppelins and planted in bombed-out craters.

by the way how do you pronounce your username?

It's not really pronouncable, but that hasn't kept various people from trying to come up with ways to pronounce it.

The most common pronunciation that people use is 'yoof'. paracelsvs or manfire made this transliteration for me a while ago; it was long ago enough that I'm not sure which of them it was, though I think maybe paracelsvs.
