This makes for a great DoS attack on cars. Set off an alarm and then hide and wait for the owner to reset it, then repeat until the owner gets so sick of resetting it that he just turns it off. Then steal the car.

Of course, it's more likely that the alarm is just crap. I know, the alarm on my previous bike went off when there was the slightest gust of wind, and sometimes even when there wasn't. Stupid thing.
