In July 2003 I got my first decent piece of recording equipment (a Zoom PS-02 Palmtop Studio digital three-track recorder) as a late birthday present and as an initial test of it I recorded the first verse and chorus of the Gram Parsons song 'Sin City' with one guitar track and two vocal tracks. (The second thing I recorded: "Pumpkin, Mrs Farnsworth".)

A week or so ago, someone (I think it was sunburn but it might have been someone else) asked if I was ever going to record the entire song.

Today I finally did.
