movies!

I don't think I have any plans tomorrow night (Friday the 20th). Does anyone want to go see either Hitchhiker's Guide or Star Wars at Providence Place or in Warwick?

(If you want to see a different movie that's actually good I suppose I would consider that too.)

If I move to your neck of the woods, does that mean I'll suddenly have friends? Because I don't have any right now. Which sounds like a pityfest but it's not intended to be, I just find myself with people I know but no one I know well enough to go to the movies with.

It took me about nine months after moving here to have anything remotely approximating a social life. (Those were not very pleasant months.)

However, you would have a leg up, because I have learned a way to instantly meet a bunch of fun people in Providence, and its name is knitdrinkprov. (Knitting is optional.)

Yabbut you are a killer knitter. I've toyed with the idea of taking more classes like the wine class but nothing came of it, there was no one there close to my age or interests. Who knows who I'll meet in the sushi class.

I've been knitting for a long time, but there are lots of people in the knitting group who joined while they were working on their first project. A big (and ongoing) problem for me was just getting out of the apartment. I hope you find some kindred souls at sushi class.

Also, I might as well point out that I ended up going to see Hitchhiker's Guide by myself. (I liked it.)
