4th of July weekend pictures

My sister and her family live across the street from my father and stepmother in Massachusetts, so I drove up and visited them this past weekend and took a bunch of pictures.

My sister made this bag using yarn she dyed herself plus some gray yarn she purchased.

This is my father and stepmother's house by the lake.

On Sunday my sister and I walked to the elementary school so that my nephew Ezra could play on the playground.

The little inlet that the house is in has a speed limit of 5 miles per hour, which means that the speedboats and jetskis mostly stay away. This makes it pretty nice for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing.

are a lot of people planning on staying overnight? my tent fits about four or five people - more depending on how comfy you'd want to be.

I think like four or five people. It looks like it won't be necessary to bring your tent, although something to sleep on (like a sleeping bag) is a good idea -- my father has an air mattress that someone can use but that's about it.

Most definitely. I'm hoping for a carpool situation with two or three people driving everyone (I expect around 10-12 people in all, not counting Craig and a couple of people who indicated they might come up on Sunday).
