Jul. 8th, 2005 04:04 pmI finished the baby pants I'm making for my friend Sarah Karush's baby. That was a quick little project! The pattern's from Joelle Hoverson's Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, which is a nifty little book although the title is a bit deceptive.
My next project is a hat (the 'almost-famous luggy bonnet' pattern by Lucy Mackenzie & Kirsteen Mitcalfe from Weekend Knitting) for the same baby. After lunch today I went to A Stitch Above with
restartsmyheart and picked up a bunch of merino for the hat:
restartsmyheart suggested that I should plan to make about fifty of these hats given the amount of yarn I got. Well, we'll see how much yarn is left over after I make the first one.

Date: 2005-07-08 09:22 pm (UTC)I did see the Knitty pattern. It looks pretty similar, except that the pattern I used has a seed stitch cuff, doesn't have a pocket, and uses a drawstring instead of an elastic waist.
