In a less :-(-oriented point of view, I'm looking forward to drunken knitting at Tokyo tonight.
Also, thinking of music, there's a show at Chan's tomorrow that looks like it will be pretty awesome, if you have the evening free and feel up to it. (I will have practice so I won't be able to make it myself unfortunately.)
The band is Brave Combo and the Super Chief Trio will be opening for them. There are two shows, one at 7:30 and the other at 9:30.
Both bands are really fun. Chan's website describes Brave Combo as follows:
"For over 25 years Brave Combo has boldly gone where few bands have gone before. They are America's premier contemporary polka band, and a Grammy winning one at that. But they are also a groundbreaking world music act, a hot jazz quintet, a rollicking rock'n'roll bar band, a Tex-Mex conjunto, and a sizzling blues band."
Looks like tickets are $15 (or $20 for both shows).
