Yesterday I bought a cheap new shower head. It advertises on the packaging: "Invigorating and Wet Feeling Spray".

an old, never-cleaned shower head, with calcification making all the holes extra tiny, screwed onto a really high-pressure water system. Like the showers they sadistically make you use at the swimming pool as if you weren't going to get more dirt on the soles of your feet on the way to the pool anyway than you had on your entire body to start with.

Ow, now I'm remembering all those times I stubbed my toes on the downhill cement walkway to the pool at the IBM Country Club. DAMN YOU!
