There is a certain similarity between the openings of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song and the theme to Get Smart.

Apparently I am not the only person to notice this.

My favorite is still the medley my band did back in high school, because it's surprising and striking and satisfying without even having to be funny: On the tail end of "Come Together," instead of replacing the repeat into the long D-7 section with dead silence, replace it instead with the long D-9 section that opens Genesis's "Squonk."

My favorites is Michael Hedges' "The Funky Avocado" off Live on the Double Planet, where he splices in a bit from the Rolling Stones' "Miss You". It's brilliant and seamless.
