WHEREAS LJ's BBQ reopened last Wednesday and I haven't been there in a while,

AND WHEREAS [livejournal.com profile] crazyanimallady's party, which was going to be on Friday, has been postponed, leaving the evening free;

LET US THEREFORE descend on LJ's on Friday and eat lots of barbecue. Who's in? (The word on the street is that they are still settling in to their new location and so are not very organized yet. Still.)

The new location is 727 East Avenue in Pawtucket, RI (in the same plaza as Garden Grille and Barney's Bagels). I should be able to give rides to people who desire them.

Is 7 pm a good time, or is that too early?

Things are a little crazy there, but I went and had no problems at all. Delicious!

Just wondering... I notice in the small print on the menu that "We cannot assume responsibility for meats ordered well done." Is that a typo, and they mean meats not ordered well done - as in, if you order it partially raw and it makes you sick, too bad? That would make some sense because the next couple sentences are boilerplate warnings about the dangers of undercooked food. Or is it "if it ends up being overcooked and tough because you ordered it well done, too bad, we won't give you another one"?

I'll be there, probably with Andrew who talks about LJ's at least once a week!

I think we'd like to go! Seven is definitely not too early, though. If I can get from the city to home and back in time, we could do seven and still get home by bedtime.
