A friend from college, Greg, is getting married next year and has asked me to be a groomsman, which I've agreed to do. He and his fiancée are thinking that it could be fun to have music recorded by the wedding party playing while the pictures are being taken, since apparently there are a fair number of professional and semi-professional musicians included there. I said, "Sure, I probably know a few songs that aren't outrageously inappropriate ..."

Now if only I can think of what they are.

I think it depends on the bride & groom. Maybe ask them. Personally, I'd require all of the awesome jakeoriginals that we all know and love.

If they need squeakyclean... hybrid car is pretty innocuous, right?

How much irony are you looking for here? Something along the lines of "Seasons in the Sun" or "Love The One You're With?" Or possibly Joni Mitchell's "My Old Man?"

I hear U2's "One" is surprisingly popular at weddings in spite of the fact that it's really more of a breakup song.

Then how about Cowboy Junkies' "Misguided Angel?" Or their "This Street, That Man, This Life?"

STOP IT, you're making me think of

A---a-a-a-a-a-a-----a-a-a-a-a---------Afternoon Delight!

We actually all had that one memorized at Boy Scout camp. I'm not sure how many of us knew what it meant.
