One of my (extremely religious) grandparents sent a nice piece of flong to all and sundry, including me. I've discarded it, but it was this Neal Boortz speech (but it claimed that he actually gave it at some college's commencement, which the website makes clear is not the case).

I read the thing through and replied back to all, quoting this bit of the speech:
That about sums it up, really: Liberals feel. Liberals care. They are pack animals whose identity is tied up in group dynamics.  Conservatives and Libertarians think -- and, setting aside the theocracy crowd, their identity is centered on the individual.
My comment: "'The theocracy crowd'?"

Now I feel a little bad about it and am wondering what repercussions, if any, there will be. Hopefully all that will happen is that people will stop sending me these things.

A dollar says nothing will happen. If they actually did notice your comment, they'll either misinterpret it, or interpret it correctly and vaguely resent you for being a godless schmuck, but even then won't bring it up in normal conversation.
