It's just your standard 'woman is lonely, woman knits man, man goes through wash and gets shrunk, woman knits shrunken man his own little shrunken woman, woman is lonely' story.

Ahhh, now I understand. I am dense; I didn't get that the man was knitted. This is what I saw:

woman is lonely; woman knits day and night; woman meets man and falls in love and doesn't knit so much anymore; man accidentally shrinks (wtf?); woman cannot love him anymore because he is small, and returns to knitting, so he is sad; there is a tiny lady (wtf?)

My brain doesn't work. I need to go back to school.

I had to go through it a few times to figure out. The fact that she knitted him a scarf confused the issue a little, I think. But I still like it.

Also that what she is knitting in the first panels does not resemble a part of him, though I suppose it is meant to be skin.

Here's what I saw:

• Lonely woman falls asleep knitting.
• Woman dreams scruffy man.
• Woman dreams that man shrinks in dryer.
• Woman awakes from dream and, still lonely, falls asleep knitting again.
• Bleary-eyed woman dreams her tiny younger self in her hands looking for love.

Also those shirttails make her polkadot skirt look like naughty underwear to me.

i thought the exact same thing as stumpsforhands- i too must be dense! (i didn't even notice that it was a tiny lady at the end) now i really like it :)
