As a musician, I appreciate that you have a form which allows me to easily post new shows. Amazingly, you even allow me to edit them after I create them, so that if information about a show changes I can actually correct it! This is a level of user-friendliness that my previous experiences with MySpace have left me unprepared for.

There is one feature which, although I am sure some of your customers find it useful, I could do without, however, It appears that when I edit a show you automatically change the state that the show is in to the state that precedes it alphabetically. (I became aware of this feature when I did some editing today and then noticed that I had a few shows unexpectedly scheduled in Pennsylvania, and one or two in Oregon.)

christ, I usually don't hear so much about a site sucking so badly without actually using it.

Incidentally, do you ever put your shows into other websites, like Google Calendar or Facebook?

You should put `em up on last.fm, too.

I like `em better, i guess. It's easier to keep track of gigs on that site than on MySpace (not that that's saying much).

As a musician, how do you like that MP3 player with the VU meter bars that just move at random and are not actually influenced by the music played in any way at all?

The theme here seems to be that to MySpace, music is mostly imaginary.
