oh no! what happened?
i never bothered to fix my broken windshield but i heard that there are a lot of places in the yellow pages which come to your house and fix it in your driveway. although i'm not sure you can get it fixed if it's raining.

I guess someone threw a rock through it or something. I didn't see the rock inside the car, but maybe it will turn up at some point ...

I called around to a bunch of places but the earliest I can get it fixed is tomorrow, unfortunately.

you should probably make some jewelry with the rock (if you find it) for sentimental purposes.

oh my god!
once, i had a brick thrown through my window.
also once, my window (the other one) was broken and i never figured out how. my dad thought maybe it was ice that flew off a plow, or something. weiird.
anyway. i hope your car is okay. and you, too. and that it can be fixed quickly.

That is just craptastic. I just do not get people who do that.

I've been able to get the drive-to-your location windshield repair, but maybe back windows are harder to fix.

They'll drive to my location, just not until tomorrow -- I guess getting the window out of storage takes time somehow. (The fact that it's a rear windshield with a defroster built-in may not help.)

I'm not sure how they do replacement back windows, but for windshields it's a same-day kind of thing. And it takes about an hour.
