Taking a sick day

jwghI think this has been coming on for a little while, but late last night and into today I've had a stuffed-up head, and with a lot of sneezing, and my lungs are also feeling clogged and I'm coughing a lot. Also kind of wiped out, although that could be mainly the consequence of a very eventful (in a fun way) weekend. So, sick day.
Possibly it's allergies, although I don't remember being hit this hard in past years -- but I may just not be remembering correctly.
One consequence of Sunday's party is that I have a lot of food in the house -- snacky stuff, but also vegetables and whatnot. Also, my mother gave me a bagful of condiments made in Vermont. So at some point in the next couple of hours I think I'll go get some bread, then come home and make some sandwiches, then go out someplace and have a mid-afternoon picnic lunch somewhere. Maybe I'll bring my guitar, too, since I have the public performance permit and everything.
But first, a bath, and then we will see how I feel.
