I was going to go with Sat.-Mon. because, Monday==bleh. I reconsidered, though, when I realized that if I croaked on Sunday, I would have been cheated! How does one say "Seize the day off" in Latin?
These are good points. My own take on it is that if you take Monday off then Tuesday feels like Monday but Friday still feels like Friday ... it feels more like you're skipping over Wednesday or Thursday. While if you've got Friday off then Thursday feels like Thursday and Friday is more like a pleasant surprise.
