Brunner writings

I bought a bunch of John Brunner books last week again and was planning to comment on them as I read them, which I still may do. However! mmcirvin was posting about some science fiction he was reading and I ended up writing this big long thing about John Brunner so I thought I'd link to it from here, too, since I might be posting more about him later.

I don't know Brunner's earlier work at all. I always think of him as one of those very seventies sexy-girl SF writers (even though what I've read is actually more of the Lloyd Biggle fuzzy-creature variety, I think) and get him confused with John Varley.
