I was just noticing last week that the KEM factory across from Marist College is still in the same bombed-out condition it's been in for 25 years. I'm only assuming it's still active because it hasn't been turned into something else, while the old steel mill on the other side of Fulton Street is now an art studio. I've never seen any cars in the lot at any time of day, though.
Hmmm. Their currently minimal webbage (http://www.kem-cards.com/) lists a new address in Ohio. Archives from last February back to 1998 (http://web.archive.org/web/19981205191404/www.kem-cards.com/indexalt.html) say Scranton. I wonder if the old factory really is closed, and for how long.
Are they KEM?
